Torres Burriel: Pruebas de usabilidad con usuarios

Como parte del Seminario Internacional de Usabilidad y Accesibilidad para la web 2008, en el taller "¿Qué nos falló? Pruebas de usabilidad con usuarios", Daniel Torres Burriel dio un recorrido detallado por las formas de evaluación de los sitios web. En la sesión del miércoles 5 de noviembre revisó punto a punto el checklist de heurística de usabilidad de Jakob Nielsen. Luego, haciendo uso de diversos ejemplos y comparaciones con la vida diaria, abordó las pruebas de usabilidad formales e informales, y su forma de ayudar a medir la efectividad y facilidad de los proyectos electrónicos.

Inicia el Seminario Internacional de Usabilidad y Accesibilidad para la web 2008b

Con la presencia de más de 100 asistentes, tanto de México como de otros países, el Seminario Internacional de Usabilidad y Accesibilidad para la web 2008 se inauguró a las 9:30 de la mañana en Cintermex. Es la segunda edición de este evento enfocado en conferencias y talleres de expertos en Internet, sitios web, su desarrollo y su impacto.

Con la finalidad de promover el uso democrático de la tecnología para crear y administrar portales que sean mejores para todos, el Seminario Ua Web 2008 trae para ti al experto José Manuel Alonso, que impartirá la conferencia magistral “Improving access to government through better use of the Web” (Mejorando el acceso a gobierno mediante un mejor uso de la Web).

Ha participado en la elaboración de varias plataformas de tele-enseñanza y en algunos proyectos de la Apache Software Foundation.

Se prepara Garret para UAWeb 2008

Jesse James Garret está listo para asistir al Seminario Internacional de Usabilidad y Accesibilidad para la Web 2008.

El experto en usabilidad de nivel mundial, participará con la conferencia magistral “Beyond Web 2.0” (Más allá de la Web 2.0), con el objetivo de profundizar en las tendencias e innovaciones de desarrollo de la web basadas en tecnologías emergentes.

Su ponencia cerrará los trabajos del Seminario que se estará realizando los días 5, 6 y 7 de noviembre del 2008 en Cintermex, en Monterrey, Nuevo León.

The group of speakers invited to UAWEB got together to review the draft of the First Manifesto on Usability and Accessibility for Government Websites. The meeting took place this wednesday July 25 and formed part of the works preceding the seminar.

Good morning.

Thank you all for joining us in UAWEB, the Usability and Accessibility for the Web International Seminar, and later on in the signing of the first Manifesto on Usability and Accessibility for Government Websites.

I wish to give the warmest welcome to all of you, more than 250 registered participants.

I have the honor of presenting the distinguished people who accompany us in the opening of this seminar.

First day of work in UAWEB

Participants exchange experiences for creating better interaction tools. With the objective of promoting best practices in web design and web development, the Usability and Accessibility for the Web International Seminar commenced works the morning of July 26 in the University of Monterrey campus.

States sign Manifesto on Usability and Accessibility for Mexican Government Websites

The signing of the first Manifesto on Usability and Accessibility for Mexican Government Websites meant the conclusion of the UAWEB seminar, held in the University of Monterrey (UdeM) campus.

After two days of activities, Mexican states and municipalities agreed to a 10-point document that will guide them in creating more useful and simple websites.
